Yoga for Cycling & Spinning
This workshop is specifically designed for people who cycle and spin. While both of these activities are immensely enjoyable and good for cardiovascular endurance, the repetitive movements involved and the bent over posture can compromise the alignment your spine and make your muscles tight. As a fellow cyclist I will guide you through yoga poses which:
1. Bring your posture into proper alignment
2. Reduce low back pain
3. Lengthen the muscles of your thighs and calves
4. Strengthen your knees
5. Stretch the muscles of your wrists and forearms
6. Bring about breath awareness
7. Focus on balancing mobility and stability to complement the way the body moves when cycling & spinning
This workshop is suitable for all levels of yoga students. Beginners are welcome.
