IYNAUS Veterans Day Event

The IYNAUS Events Committee is excited to present a unique Veterans Day Event. This event, scheduled for November 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST, will be a roundtable conversation. It will feature CIYTs, veterans, and their families engaging in a dynamic discussion.

The discussion will include the inspirational work Iyengar Yoga teachers are doing with veterans, veterans’ perspectives on the role of yoga, ways to connect with veterans, the Vet Center, and teaching veterans and their families. By participating, you will gain a deeper understanding of the transformative power of Iyengar Yoga in the lives of veterans and their families. You will also learn how you can get involved.

We hope you’ll join Sunny Keays, Barbara Lyon (Kara), Jack Lyon (Sidd), Mark Zambon, Tristan Zimmerman, George Ortiz, Jenny Hartman, Stanley Eugene Williams (Stan), Ashley Torres, and Gloria Goldberg, our event moderator, for this unique opportunity. These individuals are passionate about yoga and veteran support and will bring their unique perspectives to the discussion.

Event donations will go to Home For Our Troops (HFOT), a publicly funded non-profit. HFOT builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.
