Spring Retreat: Deepening and Healing Through Your Practice of Iyengar Yoga
Join Susan Elena for an invigorating and thoughtful healing Spring retreat. The long-awaited change of winter to spring heralds in seeds sprouting, flowers blooming, and the sun warming the earth. There is a sense of renewal and new life all around. While winter was a time to conserve energy and reduce activity, spring is a time of regeneration, new beginnings, and a renewal of spirit. Take time out to deepen your practice this Spring, a time for renewal, growth, and expansion. We can feel it in the air. Spring is a great time to envision endless possibilities, and to use our creative gifts to reach new levels of achievement, wellness, happiness and success. It is a good time to let go of the old and make room for the new. Which includes our ideas of what we can and cannot do with our bodies and how we deal with discomfort and pain. This can apply to the traditional spring cleaning but most importantly we need to apply it to letting go of old grudges, resentments, and anger that holds us back from enjoying inner peace and more happiness in our lives. When we choose to let go of the old we make room for the new and open the door to endless possibilities that are waiting for us. Minimum of 1 year of Iyengar yoga preferred. Appropriate for all levels and those with back/shoulder/neck/hip issues.
