Intermediate Ropes Weekend with Lori McIntosh
In this two-session weekend workshop, we will present
ropes-supported variations of poses from all categories of asana: standing,
forward and backward extensions, inversions and twists. Benefits include:
observation of asymmetries to address proper alignment; ability to target
specific areas of the body, strengthening and increasing flexibility; finding
support for poses that are difficult due to age, stiffness, injury or fear;
improvement of balance and stamina; and the opportunity to remain longer in
poses and thereby experience effects on a deeper level.
No drop-ins: Work is cumulative. Sessions may not be taken individually.
Pre-requisite: Intermediate Level Practice, at least one year of continuous
Iyengar Yoga instruction
