Feet and Ankles Workshop with Jaki Nett
Correct feet placement is the corner stone for standing poses in Iyengar yoga.
The skin at the bottom of the feet, the sole, is very sensitive to pressure. Becoming aware of your soles while practicing will heighten your understanding to the pose that is being practiced.
The body’s weight is transferred downward into the feet through the ankle joint. Alignment or misalignment of the feet and ankle reflects upwards.
In this workshop we will study how the feet and ankle placements bring more stability to the pose and refine your alignment.
