There are many opportunities for you to elevate your participation level at the 2023 Iyengar Convention. Volunteers will receive a free commemorative tee shirt to wear during the convention. Be a part of the action, give back to the community, and help create a memorable experience.
How can you help
We will work with you to find a convenient time to volunteer before, during, or after the events and help with tasks in various areas, some of which are listed below. Both attendees and non-attendees are welcome.
Onsite Registration
Welcome & Check-in Attendees
Information Desk
Be the welcoming face of the convention. Direct attendees and answer questions.
Props
Assist with transporting and delivering props before, during, and after the event—man prop distribution station.
Classroom Monitoring
Guide attendees to their respective practice areas for each practice session. Your shift will end when the class begins so you can participate.
Sponsorship
Distribute flyers to local businesses. Discuss sponsorship levels.
Store
Help with set-up and take-down. Staff the store (3-4 hours when open). Provide general assistance to vendors.
Willing to Work
Work wherever there’s a need for a volunteer.
