A sense of oneness

So many teachers are out there lost and struggling and feeling isolated.

Yoga has become a competitive business and one that is increasingly difficult to be profitable.

Offering both classes and special events that cross over various studios and teachers brings newness, excitement, freshness to students, along with a chance to learn and meet other people in this community.

Unfortunately these events are often priced too high for many to enjoy. I understand costs but if some of the proceeds were to go toward a local cause people are more inclined to spend. There are many creative ways to coax students to participate in such events. What most people want is a sense of community and oneness: Isn't that yoga?

People are also protective of their students and afraid to loose them. This is not good for the teacher or the student.

We need to trust that our students will find us; students will come and go as we serve them accordingly. The more we work together – collaborate – the more we will find that we can also self-promote and succeed.
